What is the process?

We know that visiting a tailor for the first time can be a fairly daunting prospect for most people, however our aim is to quickly dispel any fears our prospective clients may have by making the process as convenient and enjoyable as possible.

We offer appointments in our studios in Savile Row, London or a Visiting Tailor Service. Our appointments are designed to be informal helping us maintain a relaxed and enjoyable service where the customer can make informed decisions at his own pace.

Appointments begin with us listening to a client’s needs before moving on to discuss cloth and design of suit. We will take a full set of body measurements and discuss any personal fitting preferences to ensure we capture our clients personal style. You will then be offered a selection of personal linings and real horn buttons to further personalise your suit.

After approximately 5 weeks we will be in touch to arrange your first fitting, at this stage your suit will be made, but unfinished. Your tailor will try your garment on you to assess where tweaks and other important adjustments need to be made to ensure the final suit will fit perfectly.

Finally, normally around a week or so later we will be in touch to arrange your final fitting where your suit will be ready to take home with you. All the adjustments and tweaks that we have made throughout our fitting processes will be now be carefully applied to your individual pattern ensuring a quicker and more fluid process the next time you order from us.

How much do your suits cost?

Two-piece bespoke suits start from £895 fully-fitted

Suits vary in cost depending on the cloth selected and on the specifications requested at the time of ordering.Typical suit prices range between £895 – £1,595 and are a sound investment when you consider that many designer brands charge as much as £3,500 for an unremarkable off the peg suit that will last for a fraction of the time when compared to a bespoke suit.

It takes an average of just over 3 metres of plain cloth to make a suit and this amount can increase significantly when selecting cloths containing bold stripes or checks as they require more cloth when pattern matching. Other factors, such as a client’s size and shape can often require up to 50% more fabric when making a suit; understandably any increase in size also increases the use of all internal fabrics, paddings and interlinings.  All these factors influence price to some degree and it is, therefore sometimes hard to be exact on price until we see the client for the first time.

What are your standard terms of payment?

We require a 50% deposit at the time of ordering to cover the costs of fabric and shipping. After the final fitting is completed the remaining balance is requested so you can take your suit away with you.

We accept Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Bank Transfer.

NB: Personal cheques will only be accepted for the initial deposit
