Although ties are being worn to a lesser degree these days they are still worn when people want to portray a more professional approach, we feel this only adds to the importance of making the right selection to begin with.

A Marc Oliver tie is made from fabric which has been cut on the bias (45° angle to the warp and weft of the weaving) and although using this method uses far more material we know it makes a much better tie. Cutting fabric in this way allows us to retain the natural stretch of a fabric and prevents the tie from twisting awkwardly when being worn.

Our ties are made using the finest silks and linings and are then hand finished to improve their handle and ensure a better shape of knot when tied.
